Article marketing, or content marketing, is a great method for low cost lead generation. It is an easy way to attract the traffic you want to your lead capture pages. But you are probably asking yourself “what do I write about?” Right?

What to say is daunting at first. So I’m going to give you some of my best tips.

At the start: Write about things you know

If you you have to out and learn something new so that you can write about it then do it. Do what is necessary to get what you want.

You need to stay on topic. Low cost lead generation seeking people want you to write them an article like this one to teach them, inspire them, and ultimately help them accomplish their goal of successfully doing the entire internet network marketing process.

With article marketing your job is to learn how to take the process down to simple steps and practice them by teaching them to everyone who comes your way. This is how you become the expert. Write about that.

Number two, remember that keywords are paramount. You cannot ignore them. Pick one that a lot of people are looking for and write on that topic.

Where do you put the keywords?

– One always goes in the first few words of your title. – Then the same keyword goes in the first 90 characters of the body of your copy. – Then be sure there is one every 100 words or so. (in a 500 word article there should be 5 repeats of the same keyword spread fairly evenly throughout). – One of those instances should be made into a text link, point it to a lead capture page containing same main keyword.

Next: When you have chosen a keyword keep it in your mind and let everything that happens all day be an inspiration. If you feel like waxing philosophical do it. Write about what inspires you. Write a how-to article. But remember, too, that analogies are inspiring.

People like to laugh. And they need to know, from time to time, that they are not in the race alone. Remind them that they can do whatever they set their mind on. It’s okay if it takes time to figure it out. You are there to show them how.

Low cost lead generation is one part technical and more parts inspiration. Once the technical part is covered then you can take some time to be inspiring to the crowd in your area of the market.

I’ve written articles that were literally inspired by refilling my ketchup bottle. You can use just about anything as long as you’re paying attention and can weave a little story out of it and bring your audience back to themselves.

What is your day like? Do you go to work? Are you out of work and scrambling to do what you have to do to get your business up and running? Are you doing the dishes? Did you break a glass and have to clean it up. Did you goof up a recipe making dinner and have to get creative to save it?

Topics are limitless, there are so many things you can write about. It is called a learning curve because people make mistakes along the way. Low cost lead generation has a big learning curve. Some may get through it faster than others. But for everyone it is overwhelming in the beginning. Reassure them. Show them that they have overcome similar experiences already.
